These Halal-friendly Strawberry Overnight Oats offer a creamy texture and vibrant fruit flavor. Prepared the night before, they provide a nourishing, high-protein start to the day without any morning cooking required.

1 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 cup Halal Whole Milk
1/2 cup Halal Greek Yogurt
1 cup Fresh Strawberries
1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
12 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2 teaspoon Alcohol-free Vanilla Extract
1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Berries: Wash the strawberries, remove green tops, and dice into small pieces. Optionally mash half of them for a pinker color
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a glass jar or bowl, mix the rolled oats, chia seeds, and salt until evenly distributed
  3. Add Liquids and Sweeteners: Pour in the halal milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and alcohol-free vanilla extract
  4. Incorporate the Fruit: Gently fold in the strawberries and stir until the oats are fully submerged
  5. Chill: Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight
  6. Serve: Stir well in the morning, adjusting consistency with extra milk if needed, and top with fresh berries

Notes

Do not use instant or steel-cut oats as the texture will be incorrect.

Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days; best consumed within 48 hours.

Ensure all ingredients, specifically vanilla extract and yogurt, are halal certified.

If the mixture is too runny, add an extra teaspoon of chia seeds and wait 30 minutes.
