1 Large Frozen Banana
1 Scoop Halal Protein Powder
0.5 Cup Halal Greek Yogurt
0.25 to 0.5 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

Instructions

  1. Place the liquid ingredient, such as almond milk, into the blender first to help the blades move easily
  2. Add the halal Greek yogurt and the halal protein powder to provide the creamy structure
  3. Incorporate the frozen berries and the sliced frozen banana into the blender
  4. Start the blender on the lowest setting and use a tamper to push the frozen fruit down toward the blades
  5. Slowly increase the speed until the mixture is completely smooth, being careful not to over-blend
  6. Check consistency; it should be thick enough to hold a spoon upright. Add a splash more milk if too thick and blend for five seconds
  7. Pour the mixture immediately into a chilled bowl and smooth the top with a spoo
  8. Decorate with your favorite halal toppings such as granola, fresh fruit, and seeds
