A quick and easy one-pan lazy beef and broccoli rice bowl made with halal certified ground beef, tender broccoli, and fluffy rice in a savory honey-garlic sauce. Ready in 30 minutes!
1 lb halal ground beef
3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
1.5 cups long-grain white rice (cooked)
3 tbsp tamari soy sauce (halal certified)
½ cup halal beef broth (low sodium)
2 tbsp honey 1 tsp sesame oil
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp olive oil Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onion stalks (sliced, for garnish)
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
2. Whisk together tamari, beef broth, honey, cornstarch, ginger,
and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add
halal ground beef and cook 5-6 minutes until browned. Drain
excess fat.
4. Push beef to the sides. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry
3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
5. Pour sauce over beef and broccoli. Cook 2-3 minutes until
sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
6. Drizzle sesame oil and toss to combine.
7. Divide rice between bowls. Top with beef and broccoli mixture.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
