Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Line an 8×8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter
- Whisk in the granulated sugar while the butter is still warm to help it dissolve
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, and whisk vigorously for about two minutes to incorporate air
- Sift in the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, and salt
- Switch to a spatula and gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ones until flour streaks disappear; do not overmix
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting
