- 6 large ripe bananas, firm but sweet
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 24 mini dark chocolate chips
- 12 pretzel sticks (optional for stands)
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips, melted (optional)
- 2 tablespoons coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Peel bananas and cut each in half crosswise to create 12 pieces.
- Brush all cut surfaces immediately with fresh lemon juice.
- Trim bottom of each banana half to create flat standing surface.
- Gently press two mini chocolate chips into each banana for ghost eyes.
- Optional: brush with melted white chocolate and sprinkle with coconut.
- Insert pretzel sticks into bottom for standing support if desired.
- Arrange on serving platter and serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 hours.
